Terms & conditions
These terms explain the basis on which Micro Com Support provides website access and independent technical support services.
Effective date: 21 July 2026
1. About these terms
By using this website or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms. If you purchase a support plan, any written plan details provided at the time of purchase also form part of the agreement.
2. Independent support provider
Micro Com Support is an independent technical support provider. References to third-party products, services, and trademarks are for identification only and do not imply affiliation or endorsement unless expressly stated.
3. Service scope
We provide remote diagnosis, setup, troubleshooting, maintenance guidance, and related technical support. The scope of a session or plan is confirmed before paid work begins. Some issues require physical repair, onsite work, an internet service provider, a manufacturer, or another specialist; those services are outside our remote support scope unless expressly agreed.
4. Remote access and customer permission
Remote access is used only with your permission. You are responsible for being present or available during the session, reviewing requested actions, and ending the session if you no longer wish to continue. You must not request support for a device or account you are not authorised to use.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups, providing accurate information, keeping licences and subscriptions valid, and following reasonable preparation or safety instructions. Do not send passwords, payment card details, or other highly sensitive credentials by email or through website forms.
6. Fees and payment
Applicable fees, billing frequency, and the agreed scope are explained before purchase. Taxes are applied where required. Additional work outside the agreed scope requires your approval.
7. Third-party software and services
We may help you use third-party products, but their availability, licensing, security, and performance remain subject to the provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for interruptions or changes made by those providers.
8. Results and service limitations
We provide services with reasonable care and skill. Technology issues can have multiple causes and a specific result cannot always be guaranteed. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Micro Com Support is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount paid for that service during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where the law requires otherwise.
10. Website use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its availability, introduce harmful code, or use its content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom. The courts with lawful jurisdiction will handle disputes that cannot be resolved informally.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected] or to 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom.
