This notice explains how Micro Com Support handles personal information when you visit this website, request support, or receive a service.
Effective date: 22 July 2026
1. Who is responsible for your information

2. Information we collect
- Support-request information: name, email address, phone number, selected support area, and the issue you describe.
- Communications and service records: messages, call notes, support history, and technical details you choose to provide during support. We ask you not to send passwords, card details, access codes, or unnecessary sensitive information.
- Website and security information: IP address, request date and time, requested path, browser or device information included in standard web requests, Turnstile verification results, and security events.
- Consent choices: your optional cookie-category choices and the date they were saved.

3. How and why we use information

| Protect the website and forms, prevent spam, rate-limit misuse, diagnose failures, and maintain service availability. | Network and request data, Turnstile result, short-lived hashed identifiers, and security logs. | Our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable service and protecting visitors and the business. |

| Remember and apply optional cookie choices. | Consent preferences and time recorded. | Necessary to comply with privacy obligations; consent is used for any optional category you enable. |
We do not use support requests for direct marketing. We do not sell personal information, use it for cross-site advertising, or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using solely automated processing.
4. What happens when you submit a support form
The website validates the form, performs same-origin and anti-spam checks, and briefly processes every required field. The alert sent to the private support team contains only your name, phone number, and issue, including the selected support area. Your email address is validated and used in a short-lived duplicate-submission fingerprint, but it is not included in the alert. The application does not have a customer database and does not persist the form contents on the web server.
5. Who receives information
- Business communications provider: processes the limited support alert on our instructions in a private, non-shared support area.
- Cloudflare: delivers and protects the public website and provides Turnstile anti-spam checks. This can involve IP address, browser, device, request, and challenge information.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: process standard server requests and operational logs to run the isolated website.
- Professional advisers and authorities: only where reasonably necessary for advice, legal claims, or a binding legal obligation.
We require service providers to protect information and use it only for the contracted service. We do not share form data with advertisers or data brokers.
6. International processing
Some service providers may process information in countries outside the United Kingdom. Where this is a restricted transfer, we rely on an applicable UK adequacy regulation or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.
7. How long we keep information
- Website access logs: normally 14 days, after which rotated files are deleted.
- Rate-limit identifiers: IP addresses are converted into salted hashes. Active entries expire after 10 minutes and are removed when the limiter next processes its store.
- Duplicate-submission fingerprints: held in application memory for up to 30 minutes and lost on restart.
- Support alerts and communications: reviewed regularly and normally deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, with a target maximum of 12 months after the support relationship ends unless a dispute, safeguarding need, or legal obligation requires longer.
- Transaction and tax records: normally six years after the relevant financial year where required by law.
- Cookie consent choice: up to 180 days, unless you remove it sooner.
8. Security
Measures include HTTPS, restrictive browser security headers, server-side field validation, same-origin request checks, Turnstile, honeypots, timing and content controls, durable rate limiting, data minimisation, non-public management credentials, and an isolated, least-privilege website container. Access is limited to people who need it. No method is risk-free, so please do not send secrets or unnecessary sensitive information through the form.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to be informed, access your information, correct inaccurate information, have information erased, restrict processing, receive certain information in a portable form, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. The right to object applies to our security and service-operation legitimate interests, although we may continue where we have compelling legitimate grounds or need the information for legal claims.
You can withdraw optional cookie consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and does not affect processing that was already lawful.
10. Requests and complaints
To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email [email protected], call +44 2030 264943, or write to 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. We may need proportionate information to verify identity and will normally respond within one month.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or telephone 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
11. Cookies and changes
See our Cookie Policy for the current technology inventory and controls. We will update this notice when our processing materially changes and will request fresh consent before introducing a new optional tracking purpose.
